Tip of the Week

As the Trophy Stripers leave the Chesapeake Bay, catches of the larger (post spawn) fish dwindle.  Yet anglers want to spend time on the water just catching something fishy.  You could downsize your lures and go for the resident Rockfish or you could grab a dozen bloodworms and give bottom fishing a try.  As the weather continues to warm our local waters, White Perch and even a few Croaker are beginning to populate their usual Chesapeake Haunts.  These tasty pan fish might not be worthy of mounting on the wall, but can chase the skunk from your boat!
